The nexus project is written in Go and designed for highly concurrent asynchronous I/O. The nexus router provides extended functionality. The router and client interoperate with other WAMP implementations.

Contact Andrew Gillis

Please contact me by sending me email at ajg@gammazero.net

cascadeq

Fast disk-backed FIFO queue

Link to heading

buffers in memory and overflows to disk transparently

For more information see cascadeq at github

cascadeq (cascade-queue) is a persistent, disk-backed FIFO queue for []byte items. It runs entirely in memory under normal load and spills to disk only when the configured memory limits are reached, making it fast when the queue is shallow and able to grow to any depth, limited only by disk space. Data in the queue is persisted to disk when the queue is closed and is available for reading when the queue is opened again.

radixtree

Compressed trie with O(key-length) lookups and no allocation for reads

Link to heading

For more information see radixtree at github

radixtree implements a radix tree, also known as a compressed trie or compact prefix tree. Use it to look up values by key, find values whose keys share a common prefix, or find values whose keys lie along the path to a given key.

Why I created this project

Link to heading

I needed a trie for searching for sets items that had common prefixes, like Geohash and OID data. I wanted something that would compress paths that had no branches, and of course I wanted something fast and efficient. Other implementations had APIs that were more cumbersome than I needed or performance issues that would take more than a simple change to improve. So, I wrote my own and benchmarked it against many others, so that I had what I was looking for.

Resume

Andrew Gillis (gammazero)
Senior Software, AI, Distributed Systems Engineer and Architect
📱(805) 551-4340 @ ajg@gammazero.net 🔗 github.com/gammazero 📍Kauai, Hawaii

Software Engineer, Architect, and Project Lead with over 20 years experience in software engineering, as a senior engineer and project lead.
